Empire of the Sun will celebrate Record Store Day 2026 with Walking On A Dream (Expanded Edition), a new 2LP coloured vinyl release that brings fresh life to their landmark 2008 debut. The Expanded Edition gathers the full original tracklist alongside six additional songs from the WOAD era, five of which appear on vinyl for the first time.
The release follows a standout 2025 for the band’s catalogue, with renewed international attention. Walking On A Dream (Expanded Edition) carries that momentum into 2026, a collector’s release that celebrates both the legacy and ongoing evolution of one of Australia’s most enduring modern albums.
