2019 collection. Tompkins Square has released acclaimed black gospel compilations over the years, including Fire In My Bones, This May Be My Last Time Singing, a Nashboro Records anthology, the complete recordings of Arizona Dranes, and When I Reach That Heavenly Shore. Record collector Ramona Stout compiled this new set of Midwest Gospel gems, many heard here for the first time since original release. She tracked down many of the original artists, and composed deep, moving liner notes about her experiences. The original 45 RPM records were transferred and mastered by the Grammy-winning team of Christopher King and Bryan Hoffa. Designed by Grammy-winning art director, Susan Archie.
