Hillbilly Favorites is the third release for Lazy J Records and the third time Justin Curtis & Sally~Jo have recorded together. This time Sally~Jo makes her presence a little better known singing not only supporting vocals but lead on the duets 'Jackson' and 'Don't Take Your Guns to Town' (yes, it's a duet. Check it out!) And Sally~Jo sings both lead and harmony vocals on 'I'll Fly Away'. These tracks prove that she's more than just a pretty face. (Was there any doubt?). There are a lot of great songs here originally recorded by the legends in Country Music: Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Elvis Presley, Jimmie Rodgers... And many of the great musicians that Justin has worked with over the years: Deke Dickerson, Mike McCafferty, Steve Jacoby, Bill Dewey, Will 'The Rhythm Doctor' Jones...
