There's a noticeable evolution in the bands' songwriting, they were clearly able to build on their past success and hone their craft, taking it to the next level. The second disc is a 27 minute opus that features brutal breakdowns, various time signatures, dark samples and deep growls and screams. Both discs are an exciting step forward for the band. They've managed to take everything they've done in the past and expand on it without being cliché or obvious.
