The late Doug Sahm who died in 1999 at the age of 58 was the leader of the legendary and highly influential band, The Sir Douglas Quintet, regarded as the fathers of what is now termed Tex-Mex Rock and Roll. The SDQ had a phenomenal popularity in Scandinavia and this is a Scandinavian compilation of the biggest hits of the SDQ.
