Mute are excited to announce a collection of remixes of tracks from Fever Ray's acclaimed 2017 album Plunge, out digitally and on double 12" vinyl on December 13. Plunge Remix will include contributions from Karin Dreijer's (Fever Ray) contemporaries including Glasser, Paula Temple, and DJ Marfox. This is the first time these tracks will be available physically. Plunge is a powerful record that is sometimes harsh, often dissonant, frequently audacious. In the accompanying manifesto for Plunge, Dreijer wrote that "The decision to fall is harder than the fall itself," underlining that the plunge in question is falling in love. However, Plunge is not just a record about falling; it is more fundamentally about transformation. These remixes provide an exciting new take on the tracks, bringing them a new sense of meaning and furthering the story behind the record.
