Seven inch vinyl pressing. THE Bombillas are back following their debut 45 that hit turntables in 2017. Diving deeper into the Ethiopianand North African flavors, David Celia (keys) brought together fellow F-Spot family Michael Duffy (drums), Josh Wiener (bass), and Tyler Nuffer (lap steel and guitar) to focus on a more contained quartet sound that is eclectic while still true to themselves. Side A features the head bopping mid-tempo instrumental "Rewoana." On the flip "Ya Maje" centers around a sun soaked Mali inspired lap steal riff, effortlessly played by Tyler Nuffer with the triplet swing of Michael and Josh that climaxes only to bring you right back home. Both tunes were recorded at The F-Spot to half inch tape with enough noise to make them feel alive yet bump smoothly on the decks.
