Formed in 1964 by former teen prodigy Doug Sahm, The Sir Douglas Quintet scored international success with an utterly unique amalgam of gritty Texan country and British Invasion pop. The legendary band is captured live in this 1981 appearance on PBS's AUSTIN CITY LIMITS, which has been expanded from it's televised half-hour episode to include all 90 minutes of the quintet's performance, including their best-known hit "She's About a Mover."
