Reviews:
Janet Jackson has the best personal trainer ever. In between albums and tours the paparazzi always manage to snap the most unflattering photos of her (because, you know, size 4 is
disgusting), but when it's time to do the dog and pony show for the press'
yowza. For a woman so enamored with change, it's no surprise that her tenth album (yes, she has as many as Kylie' damn) shakes things up a bit. First, it's her debut on Island Def Jam after a long'"and increasingly stagnant'"relationship with Virgin. Second, she parts ways with longtime collaborators Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, opting instead for the hydra-headed production roster of Rodney Jerkins, D'Mile, Jermaine Dupri, Stargate, Ne-Yo, Tricky Stewart and the Dream. Will this tinkering result in a major overhaul of her signature R&B purr? Only in a good way, if the multifaceted "Feedback" is any indication.
