A laureate of the EEEMERGING+ program, the CantorĂa ensemble present their own interpretation of the famous Ensaladas by Mateo Flecha "El Viejo". For their first recording with Ambronay Editions, these four young singers use their passion and enthusiasm to make us rediscover some masterpieces of the Spanish Renaissance. Freshness, expressiveness and proximity have become the distinctive features of CantorĂa, a vocal group specializing in the performance of Iberian Renaissance polyphony, directed by Jorge Losana. It's aim is to revalue and find new ways of approaching the Renaissance and Baroque repertoire in order to bring it closer to today's audiences.
