Despite having worked in bands led by such towering figures as John Coltrane and Stan Getz, pianist Steve Kuhn has remained one of the great unsung jazz pianists. In 1986, Kuhn formed a trio with bassist Ron Carter and drummer Al Foster for a live recording at the Village Vanguard.
