Fingerprints Music

In 1976, A&M Records decided to leave no stone unturned when it came to the late father of Country-Rock music, so they cobbled this collection together to issue sessions that normally would never have seen the light of day. Six of the seven archival tracks are covers, one was original. Added to these are two tracks that appeared on a previously issued set ("Close Up the Honky Tonks") and three that were borrowed from Parsons solo albums on Warner Bros. Records (that feature protégé Emmylou Harris as well). Includes Parsons staples like "Tonight the Bottle Let Me Down", "Sleepless Nights", "Together Again", a cover of the Rolling Stones' "Honky Tonk Women", "The Green Green Grass of Home" and more.
